Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Character Studio is operated by Ricarite ("we", "us"). By creating an account you enter a contract with us on these terms.
2. Adults only
The service is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country if higher. We may ask for proof of age at any time and may close an account without refund if we believe it belongs to a minor.
3. What you may generate
You may generate images and short videos of fictional characters, and of your own likeness. You may not upload, request or generate:
- any person under 18, or anyone who appears to be under 18, in any context;
- any real person other than yourself without that person's written consent, which you must be able to produce on request;
- content that sexualises a real, identifiable person, or that is intended to harass, humiliate, blackmail or expose them;
- content that is illegal where you live, or that infringes copyright or trademark;
- content depicting sexual violence, non-consensual acts, or bestiality.
Prompts and uploads are filtered automatically and manually. We refuse or delete anything that breaks these rules, and we may report it where the law requires.
4. Personal use
Your outputs are for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, license, redistribute or publish generated content as a dataset, stock library or competing service. You keep whatever rights you have in your inputs; we claim no ownership of your outputs.
5. Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
6. Service levels
Generation runs on our own hardware. Queues can be long at peak times and the service can be unavailable during maintenance or a hardware fault. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and credits are not a payment for a guaranteed delivery time.
7. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in USD and charged in cryptocurrency through our payment provider. We do not store card data. Taxes may apply depending on your country.
8. Liability
We provide the service "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. You are responsible for how you use the outputs, including any law in your country that restricts adult material or synthetic media.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. Bulgarian law applies, and the courts of Bulgaria have jurisdiction.
